Sandy believes in the power of storytelling to entertain, encourage, and inspire. With professional roots in dance and musical theater, she’s written over twenty children’s mini-musicals, including the award-winning series titled Kids on Assignment-The Adventures of Rex and Ruby, performed by thousands of kids on stages and in classrooms. The series has recently been adapted and scripted for animation with musical content.
Sandy is also founder of Pure and Simple Productions, former producer of all-inclusive “Mini-Musical Production Kits”, books and thematic curriculum for elementary educators. Her instructional materials have achieved formal adoptions by California Department of Education in the subjects of Visual and Performing Arts and Character Education. Sandy’s passion for the performing arts is also expressed as a choreographer for full-score musicals at schools in her area.
Sandy has also published many articles on the topics of fitness and horsemanship, and enjoys traveling the globe writing inspirational stories, just like her characters Rex and Ruby.
